How to Manually Assign Loyalty Points to Customers in DPos

Manually assigning loyalty points in DPOS can be useful for when allocating Loyalty points for orders which were processed without nominating the customer's phone number. Follow this simple guide to add points to a customer’s account.

Step-by-Step Instructions 

Log in to DPOS 

• Open the DPOS application. 

• Use your admin credentials to log in. 

Create a System Backup 

• Before making changes, create a backup: 

• Go to the Utilities tab. 

• Click the Backup/Restore button to secure your current data. 

Access the Assign Points Tool 

• Under the Utilities tab, click the Assign Loyalty Points button. 

Search for the Customer 

• Or click the search button.

• Enter the customer’s phone number to find their record and click the Go button. 

Assign the Points 

• Click the Edit button to enter the number of points you want to assign. 

• Click Save to update the customer’s points balance. 

Verify the Updated Points Balance 

• To confirm the points were added correctly: 

• Go to Order Search. 

• Search for the points amendment record. 

• Click the Details button to view the current total points.
