🟩 Install the App

Download the Deliverit Driver App from:

🟩 Set Up Driver Credentials in DPOS

Go to DPOS > Staff Maintenance

For each driver:

Assign a username and password

Set their Security Profile to Driver

🟩 Log In to the App

Open the Deliverit Driver App

Enter the driver’s username, password, and Store ID
-
Store ID can be found on your DPOS terminal main screen

Note for iOS Users:

Go to Settings > Deliverit Driver > Location

Set to Always for accurate GPS tracking
🟩 Assign Orders to Drivers

On your DPOS terminal, open the Delivery Map

Select an order
-
Allocate it to a driver
-
Click OK to confirm the assignment
🟩 Start the Delivery

The order will appear in the Orders Feed of the app

Tap Start Delivery

A push notification is sent to the customer: “Driver is on the way.”
🟩 In Route to the Customer

When the driver enters the 100m geofence of the address:

The customer receives another notification: “Driver is approaching.”

📌 Push notifications only work if the customer uses your store’s branded mobile app.
🟩 Complete the Delivery

Tap Arrive in the app when the delivery is complete

Customer receives a final notification: “Delivery complete.”
⚠️ If a driver forgets to mark the delivery as complete, it will auto-complete when they return to the store.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Install the App
- Download and install the Deliverit Driver App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) on the driver’s phone.
Set Up Driver Credentials
- Ensure each driver is set up in DPOS > Staff Maintenance:
- Assign a username and password.
- Set the security profile to "Driver".

Log In to the App
- Open the app and log in using the assigned username and password.
- Enter your Store ID, found on the main screen of your DPOS terminal.

Note:
iOS Users Only
Go to Settings > Deliverit Driver > Location and set it to Always to ensure accurate tracking.
Assign Orders to Drivers
- On your DPOS terminal, go to the Delivery Map.

- Select the order and allocate it to the appropriate driver.
- Click OK to confirm the assignment.

Start the Delivery
- On the driver's app, the order will appear in the Orders Feed. (Swipe down to refresh if needed.)

- Tap Start Delivery.

- A push notification will be sent to the customer, letting them know their driver is on the way.
On Route to the Customer
- When the driver enters a 100-meter geofence of the delivery address, the customer receives another push notification: “Driver is approaching.”
Note: Customers will only receive push notifications if they are using your store’s branded mobile app.
Complete the Delivery
- Once the driver arrives and completes the handoff:
- Tap Arrive in the app to mark the delivery as complete.
- The customer receives a final notification: “Delivery complete.”

Reminder:
