Taking and Paying for a Delivery Order in DPOS
This guide helps you process delivery orders in DPOS, from entering customer details to selecting a payment method. Stores can use this when taking online orders via deliveries.
Create a Delivery Order:
Log in to DPOS and go to Orders.Click Delivery and fill in the required fields.
Enter the order items and click Save.
Process Payment:
Go to Order Search and filter by Order Type.Choose a payment method:
Cash – Calculates change automatically.
EFTPOS – Processes card payments (including Oolio Pay).
The order is now ready for delivery.
By following this steps, you will be able to process delivery transaction using DPos application.
Steps:
Log In to DPos
Open the DPos application, and enter your username and password to sign in.
Navigate to the Orders Section
From the main dashboard, locate and click on the Orders tab.
Delivery Button
Select the delivery button to start collecting the customer's detail
Enter Customer Details
Fill in the required fields, such as:
- Customer Phone Number
- Customer Name
- Customer Address
- Delivery Time (Default interval will print on the docket as ASAP and custom time will print on the docket as Selected Time)
- Special Delivery Comments
Then, click OK.
Add Menu Items
Input the customer's order items.
Save the Delivery Order
Once the order is complete and accurate, click the Save button.
Verify the Saved Order
After saving, navigate to the Order Search button section.
Order Type
After saving, locate the saved Orders by clicking the Order Search button and filter by Order Type.

Processing Delivery Payments:
Stores will need to decide how delivery transactions will be paid.
DPos can handle the following scenarios:
- Pay via phone call using Manual Eftpos Payment
- Pay cash to driver upon drop off
- Pay via Eftpos upon drop off to driver (Required Mobile Eftpos Terminal)
Cash Payment Screen:
Used for cash payments.
Automatically calculates change.
EFTPOS Payment Screen:
Handles debit/credit card payments.
Integrates with EFTPOS terminals for secure transactions. (Oolio Pay)
Reconciling Delivery Orders:
Stores need to decide how to reconcile delivery payments daily. This can be done either by the managers at the end of their shift or by the drivers after each delivery run.
