Troubleshooting an Offline Store for an Online Ordering Platform

When your online ordering website orders are not flowing through to DPos,it usually means the system cannot communicate properly with the online ordering platform. 

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide 

Locate the Polling PC 

  • Open DPOS.

  • Go to Utilities
  • Look for the Poll Web Server button.

  • Click it to check the shop status:

If it returns “Online” → polling is working and online orders should be received and printed.

If it returns “Offline” → continue to the next steps. 

  • Restart the DPOS service and recheck the status after 30 seconds to ensure it has fully updated.

  •  Ensure the store has a stable internet connection.

  • If the internet is patchy or unstable, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.

  • If the polling PC is offline or the store has no internet connection, the third integrated orders  will also be impacted.
