Checklist for Hosting Your Own Website (Landing Page)
If our standard template doesn’t suit your needs, you can host and manage a custom homepage on your own domain. This page can include your branding and content while connecting to our Deliverit Online Ordering system via a dedicated subdomain.
Important:
Please ensure you have spoken with your nominated account manager before continuing. This step is essential to prevent service interruptions and ensure your hosting setup is correct.”
1. Domain Transfer Process
-
If the domain is owned by Deliverit:
- We will initiate the transfer to your account.
- Expect downtime: There may be a short period (usually a few hours) where the site is unavailable during DNS propagation.
- You will receive a transfer invitation email from the registrar.
- Important: The transfer invitation expires after 10 days. If it lapses, we will resend a new invitation.
-
If transferring from GoDaddy to GoDaddy:
- We need the receiver’s GoDaddy account email address to initiate the transfer.
-
If transferring to a different hosting company:
- We will provide you with the authorization code (EPP code) required to complete the transfer.
- You will use this code in your new registrar’s transfer process.
-
Once accepted:
- The domain should go live almost instantly after the transfer completes.
- DNS propagation may take up to 24–48 hours globally.
