      Instructions to Process Split Table Payments (Split by Selecting Individual Items on the Bill)

      In DPOS, you can split a table's bill by selecting individual items—ideal when guests want to pay only for what they ordered. This method allows you to manually assign specific items to each guest's payment, ensuring accurate and fair billing.

      Instructions for Split Table Payments (Split by Selecting Individual Items on the Bill) 

      ✅ Log in to DPOS

      ✅ Take or load the customer’s order

      ✅ Assign the order to a table and enter the number of guests

      ✅ Tap Close Table to begin payment

      ✅ Choose Split Bill and select individual items

      ✅ Complete the first guest’s payment

      ✅ Repeat the process for the remaining items

      ✅ The table will automatically close once all items are paid

      Step-by-Step Instructions 

      Log in to DPOS 

      Use your login credentials to access your DPOS account.

      Take or Load the Customer’s Order       

      Navigate to the Orders section.

      Enter a new order or load an existing one from the system.

      Once the order is complete, select the Table Transaction option.

      Choose the appropriate table from the list.

      Enter the number of guests.

      Click OK to confirm.

      Then save.

      Close and Pay the Table       

      When the customer is ready to pay, go to the Table transaction.

      Select       the table.

      Tap the Close Table button.

      Follow the payment prompts to finalize the transaction. 

      Split by Item Selection 

      Choose the Split Bills method from the split bill options.

      The system will display a list of ordered items.

      Select Items for the First Payment       

      Tap to select the specific items the first guest wants to pay for (e.g., 2 out of 3 items). 

      Click Pay Selected Items.

      Complete the First Payment       

      The system will prompt you that the amount tendered is less than the total order by a specific amount.

      Click the Yes button.

      Follow the prompts to finalize the payment for the selected items. 

      Once paid, those items will be marked as paid and removed from the payment screen. 

      Repeat for Remaining Items 

      After paying for the 1st item, you will be directed back for the remaining items.

      Choose the second guest’s preferred payment method and complete the transaction.

      Verify and Close 

      Once all items are paid, the system will automatically close the table.
