How to Update Half-and-Half Pricing Scheme in DPOS
Need to fine-tune your pricing for half-and-half pizzas? This quick guide shows you how to update your pricing strategy in just a few steps—so your store stays consistent, accurate, and easy to manage.
To update half-and-half pricing:
✅ Log in to the DPOS application with your admin credentials
✅ Go to the Maintenance section from the main dashboard
✅ Click Global Settings
✅ In the search bar, type: Half/Half Prices
✅ Double-click the setting that appears
✅ Choose a pricing strategy:
✅ 1 – First Pizza Price: Uses the price of the first pizza selected
✅ 2 – Highest Price: Charges based on the more expensive pizza (most common)
✅ 3 – Average Price: Uses the average of both pizzas' prices
✅ Click Save to apply your selection
💡 Tip: Most stores use Option 2 (Highest Price) to prevent undercharging customers.

In the search bar, type:
Half/Half Prices
Once it appears, double-click the setting to edit.
Choose a Pricing Strategy
You’ll have three options for how half-and-half pizzas are priced:
✅ 1 – First Pizza Price: Uses the price of the first pizza selected.
✅ 2 – Highest Price: Charges based on the more expensive pizza.
✅ 3 – Average Price: Calculates the average of both pizzas’ prices.
Tip: Option 2 (highest price) is most commonly used to avoid undercharging.
Save Your Changes
Once you’ve selected the pricing method that suits your store, click Save.
