Replacing your terminal SIM card can help fix network issues or activate a new connection. Follow these simple steps to safely remove the old SIM card and install a new one.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Turn off the payment terminal.
- Make sure the terminal is completely powered off before removing any components.
Remove the back cover.
- At the back of the terminal, move the latch to the right and lift the cover carefully.
Take out the battery.
- Gently remove the battery to access the SIM card slot underneath.
Remove the old SIM card.
- Push the SIM card tray to the left, lift it up, and take out the SIM card from the slot.
Insert the new SIM card.
- Place the new SIM card into the same slot, close the tray, and slide it back to the right to lock it in place.
Reinstall the battery and cover.
- Align the battery contacts properly before putting the cover back on and securing it.
Turn the terminal back on.
- Power on the terminal and check if the cellular network icon appears at the top of the display.
- This indicates the SIM card has been successfully installed.

- If the network icon does not appear or the terminal still has no signal, restart the device. If the issue continues, please contact the Application Support team for assistance.
