Remote support allows our Support Agents to access your system and assist with troubleshooting. To ensure a smooth and secure remote session using TeamViewer, follow these steps to prepare your device for support.

How to Prepare for Remote Support (TeamViewer)

Remote support enables technicians to troubleshoot your system efficiently. Follow these steps to prepare for a smooth TeamViewer session.

Download and Install TeamViewer – Visit the TeamViewer website, download the installer, and follow the setup instructions.
Open TeamViewer – Launch the application to find your TeamViewer ID and password.
Share Your Credentials – Provide your TeamViewer ID and password to the support technician.
Allow Remote Access – Click "Allow" or "Accept" to grant the technician access.
End the Session – Close TeamViewer when support is no longer needed.


Search for TeamViewer

Look for the TeamViewer app on your Windows device.

    • If it's installed, run the app.
    • If it's not installed, download and install it.

Download and Install TeamViewer 

Go to the TeamViewer website.

Click on the "Download" button.

Once the download is complete, open the installer file. 

Follow the on-screen instructions to install TeamViewer on your computer.

Open TeamViewer 

After installation, open the TeamViewer application. 

You should see a window with your TeamViewer ID and password.

Share Your TeamViewer ID and Password 

Provide your TeamViewer ID and password to the person who will be providing remote support. 

Note: Close any sensitive or personal files that you don't want the support agents to see. 

Allow Remote Access 

When the support person connects to your computer, you may need to click "Allow" or "Accept" to grant them access. 

End the Session 

Close the TeamViewer application if you no longer need remote support.
