How to Overwrite an Existing Item Price in Cart on Oolio Pos

Updating an item price directly from the cart in Oolio POS lets you quickly adjust prices when needed — whether for a special request, a manual correction, or custom pricing.

Step-by-Step Guide 

Open the Orders Screen 

From your Oolio POS dashboard, navigate to the Orders section.

Select the Item 

Tap the order item whose price you want to adjust.

Open the Price Adjustment Options 

Tap the Dollar ($) button to access price override settings.

Choose How to Adjust the Price 

You can: 

  • Enter a new custom price,

  • Apply a dollar discount, 
  • Apply a percentage discount, 
  • Adjust the price, or 
  • Revert it to the original price.

Apply the Changes 

Once you’ve set the new price, tap Apply Changes.

The updated amount will instantly reflect in the cart.
