How to Initiate a Data Resync via DPos for Cloud Reports.

Ensuring your cloud reports are up-to-date is crucial for accurate data analysis. Follow these steps to initiate a complete or partial data resync via DPos.

Initiating a Data Resync via DPOS for Cloud Reports

This guide helps you perform a resync in DPOS to ensure that all sales data is accurately uploaded to cloud reports and the cloud dashboard.

Access the DPOS Server

Go to the Computer Server:
    • Access the server computer where DPOS is installed.
Open the Hidden Icons:
    • On the taskbar, click the hidden icons arrow to reveal additional icons.
Open DPOS:
    • Locate the DPOS symbol, then right-click and open the DPOS application.
Perform the Resync
Go to the Resync Section:
    • Inside the DPOS application, navigate to the Resync section.
Choose a Resync Option:
    • By Date Range: Resync missing data for specific days or weeks.
    • Complete Sync: Resync missing data for up to 12 months.
Start the Resync:
    • Click "Start Resync" to begin the process.
Monitor the Sync Progress
Minimize the DPOS Application:
    • You can minimize DPOS and continue working while the sync runs in the background.
Check the Sync Status:
    • Open the hidden icons again and monitor the DPOS icon status:
      • Blue Icon: Sync is in progress.
      • Green Icon: Sync is complete.

This ensures that all sales data is successfully uploaded to cloud reports using DPOS.

Right-click the DPos Symbol: Locate and double-click the DPos symbol to open the application.

Select the Resync Section: In the DPos application, navigate to the Resync section.

Choose Resync Option: You have two options for resyncing: 

  • By Date Range: Select this option to resync missing data by day or week.

  • Complete Sync: Select this option to resync the entire database (all available dates)

Start Resync: After choosing the appropriate option, click "Start Resync" to begin the process.

Minimize the DPos Icon: Minimize the DPos application to continue working on other tasks.

Monitor Sync Status: Open the hidden icons again and monitor the DPos icon: 

            Blue Icon: Indicates that DPos is still syncing.

            Green Icon: Indicates that the sync is complete
