How to Create a Customer List and Send a Push Notification

This short guide will help you set up a customer list and send your first notification campaign with ease.

Create a Customer List

✅ Log in to your DeliverIt admin dashboard
✅ Go to Promotional > Push Notifications
✅ Click Customer List
✅ Select customers (use “Select All” or choose manually)
✅ Click Add Selected
✅ Name your list and click Save

Send a Push Notification

✅ Go to Spontaneous Campaigns under Push Notifications
✅ Click Add Campaign
✅ Enter title, message, image/link (if needed)
✅ Choose the recipient list you just created
✅ Set the date and time
✅ Click Save to schedule your notification

You’re all set to start sending engaging push notifications.

Step-by-Step: Creating a Customer List 

Log In to Your Cloud Admin Dashboard 

Start by logging in to your DeliverIt Cloud admin account.

Online Ordering

Navigate to the Online Ordering section.

Go to the Promotions Section 

On the left-hand side menu, click “Promotional” to expand the options.

Select ‘Push Notifications’ 

Under the promotional tools, click “Push Notifications.”

Access the Customer List 

Click on “Create Customer List.” 

You’ll now see a list of all customers who have downloaded your mobile app.

Select Your Customers 

At the top of the customer list, tick the “Select All” checkbox to include every customer.

Add Selected Customers to a List 

Click the “Add Selected” button. 

This will move all the selected contacts into a new list for your campaign.

Name Your Customer List 

Give the list a name that’s easy to recognize.

Click “Save” to finalize the list.

Step-by-Step: Sending a Push Notification 

Go to Spontaneous Campaigns 
Still, under the Push Notification section, click “Spontaneous Campaigns.”

Create a New Campaign 

Click “Add Campaign” or a similar option to create a new push notification.

Select Your Customer List 

In the Recipient List dropdown, choose the contact list you just created.

Set the Schedule 

Choose the date and time when the notification should be sent.

Enter your notification content (title, message, image or link if needed).

Review and Save 

Double-check your message, schedule, and recipient list. 

Once everything looks good, click “Save” to schedule the notification.

Note: Make sure your app users have enabled push notifications on their devices.
