How to Connect Your Oolio Pay EFTPOS Pinpad to WIFI

Follow these steps to connect your Oolio EFTPOS pin-pad to WiFi.

 

Note: 

  • V400C Models: These are countertop pinpads and must be connected to WiFi.
  • V400M Models: These are mobile pinpads with a 4G SIM. While WiFi is optional for V400M, we highly recommend connecting to WiFi for better network reliability, especially for in-store usage.

Steps to Connect to WiFi:

  1. Access Network Settings:

    • On your pinpad, press 9 (green  button) to access the menu.

    • Navigate to Network.

  2. Enter Password:

    • When prompted, enter nominated  Admin password.

  3. Select WiFi:

    • Choose WiFi from the network options.

  4. Scan for Networks:

    • The pinpad will scan for available WiFi networks.

  5. Select Your Store's WiFi:

    • From the list of available networks, select your store's WiFi network.

  6. Enter WiFi Password:

    • Enter the password for your store's WiFi network. (Password can be found on a sticker located on store's modem)

  7. Connect:

    • Confirm the connection and wait for the pinpad to connect to the WiFi network.

  8. Verify Connection:

    • A cloud symbol will be visible in the top notification area of the pinpad to indicate that the connection to payments is established.
