Changing the position of the order number on your DPOS Dockets is simple. Follow these steps.
Changing the Position of the Order Number on DPos Dockets
This guide helps you adjust where the order number appears on printed dockets in your store using DPOS.
Access the DPOS Application:
Log in using your username and password.
Go to Maintenance:
From the main menu, navigate to the "Maintenance" section.
Open Docket Settings:
Click the "Docket Settings" button. Then, go to the "Docket Settings" tab.
Change Order Number Position:
Find the "Order Number on Top" section and click the drop-down button to view options:
- N: Default setting.
- X: Displays the order number at the top, including the customer name.
- Y: Displays a larger order number at the top of the docket.
Save and Apply Changes:
Click the "Save" button, then restart DPOS and all workstations for changes to take effect.
This ensures the order number is displayed in the preferred position on your dockets using DPOS.
Log in to your DPOS account.
Enter your username and password to access the system.
Navigate to the Maintenance section.
From the main menu, go to the "Maintenance" section.
Docket Settings button.
Under the maintenance click the "Docket Settings" button.
Docket Settings Tab
Inside the Docket settings section, click the Docket Settings tab.
Note: This feature is compatible with thermal printers only. (Classified as TMT88 in DPos)
Go to Order Number on Top section and click the Drop-Down Button.
Click on the drop-down button to reveal the list of options.
Choose an Option:
N: Select this option if you want the default setting.
X: Choose this option if you want the order number to be on the top. (Including customer name)
Y: Pick this option if you require a larger number on top of the docket.
Click Save
When done with the changes click the save button.
Restart DPos
After saving restart Dpos and all workstations for changes to reflect.
