      How to Add or Edit Delivery Zones in Deliverit Studio

      Setting up accurate delivery zones helps ensure that your online orders are processed smoothly and reach the right customers. This guide walks you through how to add or edit delivery zones in Deliverit Studio.

      How to Add or Edit Delivery Zones in Deliverit Studio (New)

      🟩 Log in to Deliverit Studio

      🟩 Navigate to Delivery Zones

      • From the left-hand menu, click Settings

      • Choose the Delivery section

      • Select the Delivery Zones tab

      🟩 To Add a New Delivery Zone

      • Click Add Zone

      • From the dropdown, select the Zone name

      • Use the PLU Search to link the delivery fee PLU

      • Set a Minimum Order Amount

      • Enter the Default Wait Time (shown to customers)

      • Click Save to create the zone

      🟩 To Edit an Existing Zone

      • Click the Pencil icon next to the zone

      • Update the following as needed:

        • Zone name

        • Delivery PLU

        • Minimum order value

        • Wait time

      • Click Save to confirm the changes

      🟩 Apply the Changes

      • Refresh your DPOS system and online ordering website to apply updates

      📝 Notes

      • Ensure each zone has the correct PLU for the right delivery charge

      • The wait time is displayed to customers during checkout.

      Step-by-Step Instructions 


      Log in to Deliverit Studio       

      • Enter your DPOS Cloud credentials to log in.

      Navigate to Delivery Zones       

      • From the left-hand menu, click on the Settings and choose the Delivery section.

      • Then select the Delivery Zones tab.

      Add a New Delivery Zone       

      • Click the Add Zone button.

      • From the dropdown menu, select the Zone you wish to create.

      • Use the PLU Search field to select the PLU associated with the delivery fee for this zone.

      • Set a Minimum Order Amount that customers must meet to qualify for delivery to this zone.

      • Set a Default Wait Time for deliveries to this zone.

      Note:
      Delivery wait times stack additively. If Store Wait Time is 20 minutes and Zone 1 adds 30 minutes, the total wait time becomes 50 minutes (20 + 30)

      • Once all fields are completed, click Save to apply the new zone.

      Edit an Existing Delivery Zone       

      • Find the zone you want to update and click the Pencil (Edit) icon.

      • Make your changes to any of the following: 

      Zone name 
      Delivery PLU 
      Minimum order value 
      Wait time

      • Click Save to confirm the changes.

      Refresh to Apply Changes       

      • After saving, refresh your DPOS system and website for the updated delivery zone settings to take effect. 

      Notes 

      • Ensure the correct PLU is linked to apply the right delivery fee. 
      • Wait times are estimates shown to customers when they order online.
