How to Apply a Manual Surcharge Button to DPos Touchscreen

Applying the Surcharge button to your DPos touchscreen allows you to easily apply additional fees (such as public holiday surcharges or card payment fees) during transactions. This ensures accurate billing and compliance with business policies.

Step-by-Step Guide 

Log in to Deliverit Studio 

  • Enter your Cloud username and password to access your account.

Ensure the Surcharge Item Is Created 

Before adding the button, make sure the Surcharge item code (PLU) is already created and properly configured. 

For Example: PUBHOL

Open the DPos Touchscreen Editor
 

  • From the Studio dashboard, go to DPos

  • Select Touchscreen

Add the Surcharge Button 

  • Locate an empty or blank space on your touchscreen layout. 
  • Click the ➕ (Add Item) button.

  • In the search bar, type the PLU (Product Code) of your Surcharge item.

  • Choose a button colour to make it easy to identify.

  • Click Add to save the button.

Deploy the Changes 

  • Click the Rocket icon to deploy your changes

  • Wait for the deployment to finish — once complete, your Surcharge button will appear on the DPos touchscreen.
