Adding a New Payment Type to Your Store Using DPOS
This guide helps you add a new payment method in your store using DPOS. Stores can use this to introduce new payment options, such as digital wallets or custom payment methods, for smoother transactions.
How to Add a New Payment Type
Log into DPOS:
Sign in with your username and password.
Access Payment Settings:
From the main menu, navigate to the Maintenance section.
Open Payment Types:
Click on Payment Types to view the current list of available payment methods.
Add a New Payment Type:
- Click the New button (upper right corner).
- Enter the name of the new payment type at the bottom of the screen.
- Click Save to confirm the addition.
Apply Changes:
Restart DPOS on the server and workstations to update the system.

Log in to DPOS using your credentials.
Enter your username and password to access the system.
Note:
Before making any changes, create a backup:
Go to Utilities.
Select the Backup/Restore button.
Click Backup.
Navigate to the "Maintenance" section.
From the main menu, go to the "Maintenance" section.
Select the "Payment Types" button.
Under the Maintenance menu, locate and click on the "Payment Types" button.
Click the “New” button.
In the upper right corner of the Payment Types screen, click the “New” button.
Input the name of the payment type.
At the bottom part of the screen, enter the name of the new payment type you wish to add.
Save
Then, hit the Save button.
The new payment type has already been added.
Restart DPos on Server and Workstations computers to reflect changes.
