How to Add a Discount to a Line Item on Oolio Pos

Applying a discount to a specific item allows you to adjust pricing quickly and accurately during an order. Follow the simple steps below to apply a discount to any individual line item.

Step-by-Step Guide 

Open the Orders Screen 

Navigate to the Orders section.

Select the Item 

Tap the order item you want to apply a discount to.

Open the Discount Options 

Tap the Discount button.

Choose Your Discount Type 

You can select either: 

  • Dollar Amount (e.g., $2 off), or 
  • Percentage (e.g., 10% off)

Set the Discount 

Enter the value of the discount you want to apply.

Apply the Changes 

Tap Apply Changes to confirm the discount.

The updated price will appear automatically on the order screen.
