Recalibrating a Windows Touchscreen
Open the Control Panel
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type Control Panel and press Enter.
Access Tablet PC Settings
- Click Hardware and Sound.
- Under Tablet PC Settings, select Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input.
Begin Calibration
- In the Display tab, select the correct display (if you have multiple monitors).
- Click Calibrate.
- Choose Touch input when prompted.
Follow On-Screen Instructions
- Tap the crosshair targets accurately as they appear on the screen.
Save the Calibration
- Once complete, you’ll be prompted to save the data.
- Select Yes to apply the calibration changes.
Recalibrating an ELO Touchscreen
Open the ELO Calibration Tool
- Look for the ELO icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of the screen).
- Click it and select Align/Calibrate.
If the icon is not visible:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Navigate to ELO Touchscreen.
- Under the General tab, click Align/Calibrate.
Follow the Calibration Process
- Touch the targets displayed on-screen (usually in the upper-left, lower-right, and upper-right corners).
Confirm Calibration
- After touching all targets, a check screen will appear.
- Tap the green check mark to confirm and complete calibration.
