Enabling Bar Code Function on Oolio Pos
Enabling the Barcode Scanning feature in Oolio POS allows you to quickly add products to an order by scanning their barcodes. This helps speed up order entry, reduces manual input errors, and improves overall efficiency—especially in fast‑paced environments. Follow the steps below to activate Barcode Scanning Mode on your POS.
Note: Once Barcode Scanning Mode is enabled, ensure your barcode scanner is properly connected and configured with your POS device. If the option is not visible or scanning does not work as expected.
Step‑by‑Step Instructions
Open the POS Order Screen
Log in to Oolio POS, then navigate to the POS Order Screen.

Open the Navigation Menu
In the top‑right corner of the screen, click the Navigation Menu.

Go to Settings
From the navigation menu, select Settings.

Locate the Behavior Section
Scroll down the Settings page until you find the Behavior section.

Enable Barcode Scanning Mode
Find the Barcode Scanning Mode option and toggle the switch ON to activate it.
