Allocating staff to the correct department in DPos ensures that reports and clocking records are accurate. Follow the steps below to assign a staff member to a department.
Step-by-Step Guide
Log in to DPos
- Open the DPos application and sign in with your credentials.
Go to Maintenance
- From the main menu, click on the Maintenance tab.
Open Staff Maintenance
- Select Staff Maintenance from the list.
Find the Staff Member
- Use the search bar to locate the staff member.
- Double-click their name to open their profile.
Assign the Department
- In the staff profile, go to the Department dropdown menu.
- Select the department you want to allocate the staff member to.
Save Changes
- Once done, click Save to confirm the update.
Tip:
You can also create a store department by clicking the add button, or you can follow the guide on How to Create Store Departments on DPos (Staff Clocking Functions).
Note:
Make sure all staff members are assigned to the correct department before generating reports for accurate results.
